Carrying forward the values set by the year of the water rabbit, TRUSTING OUR TIDES celebrates 7 years of the W.O.W. Project, a women, queer, and trans led community initiative using art and activism to grow and protect NYC Chinatown’s creative culture in a time of rapid change.
TRUSTING OUR TIDES honors the cycling tides of our cultural organizing work over 7 years and the trust in relationships and collective work that is essential for our future. We spent this year reflecting—how low tide reveals what has gathered on the shore and what it means to leave an imprint—while gearing up for a year of high tide—bringing in new programs, new staff, and making waves that will flow into the next era of W.O.W.'s work.
